Gozie Uzendu Named Conference Athlete of the Week

Gozie Uzendu from St. Louis becomes the first St. Louis College of Pharmacy student-athlete to be named conference basketball Athlete of the Week by the American Midwest Conference (AMC). Uzendu was elected over eight other nominees by conference officials for his two double doubles in two AMC games.

Uzendu currently leads the AMC in rebounds per game (9.00) and defensive rebounds per game (6.54). In the first game of the 2014-15 season, Uzendu made his 1,000th career point, becoming the 12th Eutectic in STLCOP history to join the 1,000 Point Club. More about his achievements can be found here.
